Job Summary:

DUCG is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant with an MA diploma or 1 year of on-the-job experience. Preferrably, our next team member will be familiar with blood draws, administering injections, and verifying insurance.

We have 2 different scheduling models for our clinical staff to choose from, with at least 1 on-call shift each week (comes with $50 on-call shift bonus!)

Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications.
Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
Assist with patient procedures.
Provide warm and inviting customer service to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort.
Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling patient registration.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

Completion of a Medical Assistant training program, OR 1 year of on-the-job training as a Medical Assistant.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
